Hey Andy, All I can say is my jeep didn't like the aux battery delete. It usually wouldn't start on first push, 2nd try would do it but that didn't make me feel very confident. Also at about 100 miles the check ess warning lite would come on. Happened twice. I saw several posts that talked about the aux battery being used for more than just stop start. Its sort of a support to the main battery under heavy loads from accessories etc. Anyway with my aux battery and #42 fuse back in it's running perfect again. The auto stop eliminator is great to because you don't have to remember to push the button each time you start. I also have Body Armor fender liners which are held on with a few screws making access to the aux battery very easy. Jeep is happy so I'm happy.
