Hi ,

My transfer case Mp1622c- 68240445ac is crushed ( the stone did not move::angel:). I saw one online in Europe but is Mp3022 - 68240453ac .

Can i use that one? From my search the rate is the same 2.71.

Or i can use only the housing from Mp3022 and the mechanism/gears from Mp1622c ?

Thanks in advance,

The housings and flanges are different. You'll need the same part number.

Since the expert is here, if i want to change my part time sport xfer case to a full time unit what will i need to switch out? I was hoping i just need the case (mp3022) and matching gear shifter.

You would need to switch out the entire transfer case assembly. Buy it as a complete unit, not just the case.

I was afraid the word "case" would be misleading but i was referring to the whole unit. Would drive shaft lengths and the connections as well as electrical connections all be compatible? I have a sport diesel which i would like to upgrade to full time 4wd as it is not a factory option.

Driveshafts would be alright. I'm not sure on the electrical connections. You'll need to look at the wiring diagrams. They're on this forum.

Also, the Jeep would need to be programmed. I would check with your local dealer to make sure they're willing to do this.

did you ever get to do this. I also would like to get a manual but with a full time transfer case.
