Added aftermarket wheels and tires with new TPMS sensors to my 2019 JLU Moab. TPMS read the new tires almost immediately and cleared any errors on the first drive. Ever since, when starting the TPMS warning light will flash for about 30 seconds and then come on solid. All 4 tires always have readings. Set all 4 tires to 38 psi and the sensors are actually spot on. No specific errors displayed on EVIC.

I've tried:
Resetting CELs with Tazer
Disconnecting negative battery cable for a bit and reconnecting.

Not sure what to try next. My cheap OBD scanner doesn't pull any TPMS codes, so I'm not even sure what the system is griping about. Any suggestions to try at home before I try a tire store with the hopes of avoiding my cranky dealer.

Best we can understand is the JL transmitter and location is too weak. Once you start doing lifts and 35’s with 10 ply tires it just can’t transmit a strong enough signal to tell the system what tire is reading what location. I also get the tire PSI readings however the warning light won’t go out.

I get this on my stock JL from time to time. I am throwing on 37" Nittos (8 ply) and 2.5" lift on this weekend (though was missing the spring isolators -- my fault not theirs), so should have it done Tuesday. We'll see if it gets worse...I swapped the stock sensors to the AEV Borah beadlocks.

And...after 2 weeks it just randomly disappeared and has been fine for 3 days now.
