Tow Harness Reprogram?

For those that have installed the Mopar trailer hitch tow harness--does it require dealer reprogram? If not what does the Tazer / JSCAN tow enable do?

Anti-sway feature? I wonder how this works exactly. I've been towing for years without programming.
