Touch screen not responding

I have an 18 JLUR with the 8.4 screen. The screen has started not responding about 50% of the time. everything works fine but the touch. I can use the dial to select things like next track, and I can use voice command to change inputs. the main time its really a pain is when the weather alerts come up, I have no way to get rid of those. I have found if I use the tazer and do a full reset the touch screen starts to work again but only for one run. next time I turn off the engine the screen goes back to not working. anyone else have a touchscreen issue, or know how to fix this? Thanks.

My 2018 was doing the exact same thing. New radio fixed it.
