Recently put on a 3.5 inch RC Lift kit, driving a 2020 sport 2 door. Considering putting on 37`s. I got an alignment done when I got the lift installed, should I take any more precautions before putting them on? What tire shops give you the best deals? Any and all suggestions/help are much appreciated, I’ll pay it forward down the line when I upgrade my tire knowledge. ?

Make sure you get the correct wheel backspacing/offset for clearance. The RC site shows 20x10s at -18mm offset, I'd make sure there's not a clearance reason they're using such big wheels.

Since it's spec'd with 35s, you may need some additional bump stop and/or fender modifications to clear 37s.

I won't get into axle strength, RC does note that they recommend an aftermarket drive shaft.

At this point, it's getting hard to find tires and wheels that aren't backordered, most of them will price match each other if you can find it. Make sure you call and check on stock, I went through several different wheel selections before I found one I could actually get, despite everything being listed in stock on different sites.

Discount Tire has always done a good job for me, and they're all over the place if you need to get a wheel re balanced or rotated.

First time I’m noticing this about offset wheels. 35’s might end up being the better option. Although the site mentions they “easily“ fit 35’s. I’m planning on sticking with the stock wheels. Clearance wouldn't be a problem if I wasn’t in a sport model with giant plastic fender flares. ?

Discount tire and Costco both seem like good options

Good luck even finding a 37” tire in stock right now.

35s would be a better choice to avoid additional costs for the items @GATORB8 mentions above.

Make sure 35s fit your stock wheels. Most tire makers recommend a minimum 8.0" to 8.5" wide wheel for their 35x12.50 tires.

My stock wheels are 7.5" wide and the suspension is stock (for now) so I went with a 285/75R17 tire which is 33.86" tall when properly inflated.

Good luck with your tire choice.

I would add that if you have your heart set on 37s, do what you need to get them now or you’ll end up regretting it for 40-50k miles. Like 2-foot-itis for boats, 2 inch itis for tires kicks in.

One other item I didn’t mention above is considering regearing.

3.5“ lift, the first thing you should do is the front drive shaft. I am willing to bet your front shaft is maxed out. It was maxed on mine when I did that same lift.

Here I was thinking all I’d have to buy was the lift and tires...

How would I be able to tell if the front drive shaft is maxed out?

When you get the lift on, it would be where the drive shaft connects to the transfer case.
