Is that Punk'n?

If so......man if it comes back this year I may move off my 2 door Bronco back to a JL.

Yeah, that's my Wanderer.

Punk'n is a bit darker than the incoming "Joose" as you can better see here:

Punk'n on the left, Joose in the middle, and Nacho on the right.

Never count a color out until you see it in person.

Yeah, I definitely like the Punk'n in a 2 door. I'll check out Joose when it comes out, that or go back to Sarge Green. I've had fun with the 2 door Bronco, but I could see going back to a Jeep for the long run.

Are you going back to a manual?
That's the million dollar question.......the Bronco 7MT is really what's keeping me in it. I'm kinda at a crossroads of trading the Bronco before the warranty is up and I can get basically enough off it to buy a 2 door Willy's new.

The thing that concerns me is the issues I've seen with the recall on existing vehicles as well as new ones that have had issues right off the bat. I have a friend with a '20 JLU Sport and the recall has caused it to go into limp mode with the Service Transmission message intermittently popping up with no rhyme or reason. The dealer hasn't been able to fix it because it's not throwing a code, which would drive me crazy.

If there were no issues with the manual, I'd 100% go that route, I get the 3.6, the joy of a manual transmission and less expense, but I never really enjoyed the manual in my '21 JL. I think if I went automatic, I'd go XR, which basically throws another $8k or so into the equation with the automatic upcharge.

I never did get a chance to check out the manual Bronco. Test drove an automatic but was let down with the build quality of the Bronco. I have a ‘24 manual Willys two door now. I do enjoy the manual! The new Joose color has me considering a 392 though.

Nice - I honestly want to keep it kinda stock, pull the backseats out day 1, install Armorlite throughout and throw a mtb 1up rack on it and call it a day. I'm going to wait for Joose to come out, I like the '41 too.

Can you tell any difference in the '24 manual versus previous models?

I think my ‘24 has plenty of clutch pedal feedback. Seems others with ‘24’s and ‘25’s agree. I did test drive a couple of pre ‘24’s with about 30k miles and their clutches seemed to be more of the on/off switch people talk about. I only have a few thousand on mine so maybe mine will get like that too 🤷‍♂️ The dash comes out a good bit further on the ‘24’s. It was enough to prompt me to get a B&M shifter which gave me a good bit more distance.

When the 2024 sport that I ordered came in and I went and test drove it I wasn't really impressed.

And like the other guy is saying the dash comes out farther on the newer ones and I was definitely hitting the dash with my hand going into third especially and It was super annoying.

I got my 2021 instead and installed one of the ACT clutch pedal springs and honestly it made more of a difference than the 2024s clutch.

I've decided that I will not have a recall clutch put in my Jeep under no circumstances. Even if the clutch hardware is better it has that new shitty limp mode software that you'll be stuck with even if you put an aftermarket clutch in it.

As a die-hard manual guy I don't know if I could buy another manual Wrangler at least in its current incarnation. It burns my soul I have to say that but it's true. As far as everybody's complaints about the transmission itself I'm actually fine with it. Would love to see Jeep do a 7-speed like the Bronco has though.

I had a '21 JLUR, and I'll say that having the crawl gear in the Bronco opens first up a bit, and that helps it overall. The crawl gear does it's job off road, I don't really mess with the modes too much just pretty much select what I need when I need it. Bonus with the crawl gear is in traffic. I haven't had the sync issues a lot of the Broncos have had with the grinding noise.

With that said, I've 3 wheeled the Bronco a few more times than I'd like especially with the shorter wheelbase, so.....off road wise I trust the JL more. That and the JL just feels more sturdy.

The Bronco wins easily in the seat comfort department and the the vinyl has worked really well with sand/mud, etc. which I'm in quite a bit.

If I lived out west or in the NC mountains, and had more opportunities to 4 wheel, I'd have a JL. I live at the beach where it's 3.5 hours to any decent 4 wheeling beyond mud/swamp. That's mostly why the Bronco has won out (for now).

What Safari top is that… It looks like one of the best top models? That’s exactly how I want to run mine in the summer but also with the full hard doors on when needed… If it is the best top, did it come with the door surrounds and everything else. Thanks looks great
