I currently have 245/70/R17 tires and I’d like to upgrade to 285/70/R17 KO3’s. My 2018 JL is stock and I want a more rugged looking Jeep. I currently do not go on trails, but may enjoy some light off-roading in the future. Can I get some advice on this, and advantages / disadvantages to this set-up.

Kind of depends upon what your budget is...
Anything from Falken Wildpeaks to Goodyear Duratrac to Goodrich KO3s.

AFAIK it should be fine for street driving, but nothing a bit of time with a tape measure wont figure out
