Tire Size & Gear Ratio Programming - JSCAN Manual Transmission - ERROR CODES

Good morning! I have a 2019 Wrangler JL with manual transmission. I am trying to program the tire size and gear ratio. I am using a security bypass and the iCAR pro module along with the JSCAN APP. The settings appear to have been accepted, the speedometer is now accurate.

After a few minutes of driving I get the ACC and ESS lights on the dash. Regular cruise control is also not working. In the JSCAN APP I go to advance scan and see U0401-00 and P08A6. I have cleared the codes but they return. I have tried the additional driving steps for the M/T without success, the errors pop at times even before I can get into 6th gear.

Has anyone seen this before programming?

Maybe a coincidence my AUX battery is going bad at the same time I was programming? When the AUX goes bad I know it throws the ESS light but does it also disable the ACC?

I have tried reprogramming and driving 10+ times without any luck, looking for ideas before I call the dealer.

I was guided to NOT restart with the programmer and instead disconnect both batteries. I followed the thread below leaving it disconnected for 30 minutes. Hooked everything back up and drove it for 30 minutes in 6th gear and have not seen a single code.

Whenever I do anything in JSCAN I always do (2) full reboots, I have never had a single issue with any errors doing it this way.

You need to do the sixth gear relearn process, the only way I have been able to accomplish it is to disconnect the batteries, reconnect, and then immediately drive in sixth gear and keep the gas pedal pressed for at least 20 seconds.

It’s done! Even though the Tazer and JSCAN say their devices can restart the PCM and start the M/T learn process I am finding many folks say they had to disconnect both batteries. Happy to move past this without a trip to the dealer. It cleared the codes and nothing has pop’d since.
