Hey all,
A bit off topic, but i value the opinions of this group more than I do the Colorado forums.

One owner 2020 ZR2 116k miles on original brake pads. Still no issue but they are getting thin. What's your thoughts on semi metallic versus ceramic replacements other than dust? Any brands that people trust?

Ceramic all day long, unless you tow a lot. Lees noise, less dust, easier on the rotors, and they grab better under most circumstances.

At that miles my personal preference would be to swap the rotors as well, and use ceramic pads, just make sure you bed the pads, otherwise you’ll be in for another 100k of squeaky brakes..

Make sure you know what brakes you have on there now. My local auto parts supplier said there are three different pads. I think mine was a BRY or BR6. No clue what they mean.
