I had posted images of this a while back but wanted to share the dimensions I took of the plate I made. I ended up using a 3/16" steel plate. I cut the top and bottom of the Thule bracket with an angle grinder and drilled new holes in the tubing.
This is missing the bolt holes of the spare me mount. Also noted, I have no idea if this will work on other wheel variations.
Do this at your own risk- I can't guarantee that this will work for you, but it has been extremely helpful so far on mine.
