Throttle limiting in reverse?

I have noticed on several occasions now both in 4 HI and 4 LOW that the computer seems to limit my power in reverse. In deep snow it will actually limit it to the point that tires will not turn in 4 HI. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have actually seen a video somewhere of this as well with a guy stuck in a snow bank and couldnt back out because the power was being cut, I believe it may be the traction control acting as a rev limiter of some sort, not sure if you can simply turn it off but the guy in the video was running a Tazer prior to 11.0.8 (that enables you to turn off all of the nanny electronics) and mentioned once he updated to that version the problem was fixed.

Maybe someone more knowledgeable then me can comment.
