I have a 2018 sport S on a modified Mopar lift with 35’s and am using a Tazer. Factory gears (3.45). Alignment correct, castor at 6.0, no CEL’s, no ABS/TCS disable from codes.

Every now and then I like to run through DTC’s via my Tazer. Not long after I put the Tazer in I noticed codes (no CEL, just logged DTC’s) for wheel speed rationality in multiple wheels. I was on 33’s then, and attributed it to my trying the turn assist feature (which I don’t use anymore….see Bronco issues). Yesterday I looked at the codes again out of curiosity (again, no CEL or ABS/TCS inhibit, just curiosity) and saw codes for drivers front, passenger front, and passenger rear wheel speed rationality. I haven’t used turn assist, but do use brake hold at stop lights. I do wheel it, but no deep water.

There is no effect on drivability, everything is functioning/ acting normal, but am curious about the codes. If it were one, or even two sensors I’d say it might be a sensor issue, but it’s three. The Tazer does do weird things every now and then, but nothing that I’ve noticed with drivability.

Any thoughts on what could be logging these rationality codes? I wouldn’t think wheelspin off road would trip a code like that….but I do have open diffs and imagine there’s a sizable difference in wheel speed when trying to power through an obstacle.

I’m not too concerned about it, as it’s not tripping the CEL or ABS/TCS inhibit……I wouldn’t even know about them if I didn’t randomly see them with the Tazer. I’m just curious what could be causing the codes. Any thoughts?
