https://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/2012/10/how-cafe-killed-compact-trucks-and-station-wagons/There's no way they'd ever build this, and you can look at the current pickup market to see why - single cab trucks just don't sell. When crew cabs came out, they were pretty niche; a trick to get sedan owners to step up to a truck. They did, and they loved the extra room, and no one really missed the couple of feet missing from the bed.
Fast forward to today, and it's damn near impossible to buy a new single cab pickup. They just don't make them, either in small or full sized pickups. Even extended cabs are becoming harder and harder to find, mainly because they were getting harder and harder to sell.
With the Jeep Wrangler continuing to move more into soccer mom/weekend warrior territory, offering less seating is not a trend we're likely to see.
