What major or minor improvements do you see Jeep making on the JL within the next couple years?

Mr. Fusion and flux capacitors?

Manufacturers will need feedback from owners as what needs improvement, seeing as they are just released and not many have had a chance to comb over we might as well be picking lottery numbers.

I'd like to see the following:

1. A 6.4 V8 or 6.2 Supercharged V8

2. A proper automatic convertible folding softop which gives the same open air feeling as the folding manual softtop.

3. Center lockable differential with ability to disconnect front wheels by means of a transfercase. Also front and rear locking diffs.

4. Rear airbags.

5. Some way to mount 2 full sized spare wheels

6. Panels for additional gauge pods and JL style matched configurable gauge pods.

7. Heated rear seats and cooled front and rear seats.

8. Manual vent to get outside air when in motion (without having to roll down windows).

If they had added cooled seats I would’ve literally thrown money at the salesman. With cooled seats you could easily go topless in the middle of hot Texas summer.
As someone that rolls naked often I hope they waterproof all the electronics.
I’m pretty sure they weather proofed the interior.

Exactly. A G-Wagon on steroids. I'd throw money at them if they did this, particularly combined with the diesel engine. Although I wouldn't mind if they developed a manually operated version that allowed locking of the center-diff with the transfer case lever (right to left motion as in some of the old Land Rover Discoveries).

Rumor has it this is exactly what the new Defender will be when it returns (live front and rear axles, AWD, and center/front/rear diff locks).

Did you hear that Defender rumor recently? Land Rover is owned by Tata now, and last I heard the long delayed return of the Defender (if it ever occurs), will be as a unibody vehicle. Would be great if it comes back as a ladder frame live axle vehicle.

I would assume the red dash in Rubicon’s will not be mandatory w black interior.

I was hopping for vented seats

RBS on the V6

Maybe offer selec-trac on the Rubicon

If ocean blue was found to be offered in 2019 I might seriously hold off my offer till sept/oct and get a 2019 then.
