These posts are overwhelming, but D1 so?

I ordered last Monday the 13th, had my VON day one, then VIN a few days later and salesman said status was D1. So what do the experts think I am looking at timewise? Sorry I scoured posts and it gets overwhelming trying to figure out the averages for most posters. Thanks.

I ordered 7/3, D1 7/10 went to I status 7/17. Been I status since. I don't really know why so long, and no one can seem to be able to tell me. That seems to be the norm though, either you fly through or get stuck somewhere for as few weeks.

I was in D1 status for about a week. Typically, when you go to D1, there is an estimated build date given at that time. You can see what my complete timeline was in my signature.

I've been in D1 since July 10th. It's anyone's guess based on the increase in sales, the problems with the turbo, and the delay in the power top...I think they are quite overwhelmed but if you have a straightforward build without a lot of options then you might get lucky?

I do think it depends on what options you get too. There were rumblings about an LED shortage, but not sure if that is still true. Also, with orders being cut off, do they also draw down on personnel and manufacturing time? I don't know. Someone with FCA would have answer that I guess.

But yes, I was pleasantly surprised how quick I got mine. I was told 8-10 weeks from order date.
