I have a JL lite I just unmarried. I want to plug in the gateway extension and take it to dealer for a new key fob program. I have the larger side of the gateway extension plugged in no issues. The smaller side will not go into the extension cable.
From the looks of it and I'm guessing here the plug from the extension prongs are spaced out in a fashion that make the factory plug unacceptable to plug in.
Confirmed this on the JL lite spacing of prongs are direct than the extension cable.

Am I crazy or did I somehow get the wrong extension cable ?

For reference. The plug on the left top is the Tazer. The plug left bottom is the gateway extension. Notice the prong spacing difference between them. That difference does not allow the factory plug to be connected to the extension and had to be removed.

I have reached out to the vendor I purchased the cable from and Z Auto support via email. Hoping to hear back soon.
Until then I guess no one else has had this issue and is isolated to my bad luck !

So I reached out to Northridge 4x4 who I bought this from. I also reached out to Z automotive. Between the 2 vendors it was determined the cable was bad and was sent a new one. Northridge took care of the shipping, and Z automotive got me a new cable. Took a bit of time but all in all a done deal. Both were easy to deal with and I was in no rush.
