I just bought my 23 JLUR and don't have all the fancy gear and tents and awnings a lot of y'all have, but still love camping. I bought a 24x30 tarp at Wally World and was thinking to use it as an awning over the top rear of my Jeep, but am drawing a blank as to how to secure it to the roof. Any suggestions?

I have seen people secure a tarp to the Wrangler by running straps from two corners of the tarp to the rear wheel spokes or the rear door handles. The tarp is not attached to the roof, it just drapes over the roof. I am not sure how well that would work with a 24' x 30' tarp. That is a big tarp. Attached pictures are from the Slumberjack website.

That's an interesting idea, I didn't even think to hook it to the wheels. Not bad for an overnighter trip, but if base camping, I'd have to have a way to secure it in place to drive the jeep away...
