Synergy Front Track Bar Axle Bracket Trim

Need help from the experts on here. I was going to pull the trigger and order a synergy front track bar for my 2022 JLUR. I read the instructions and it said the Axle Bracket may need to be trimmed (see photo). If you have installed the synergy front track bar, did you have to trim the bracket? Do we know which models require trimming? I would hate to trim the bracket and not have to.
