Because it's awesome, it really smooths out the ride. One of the best things a Tazer can do. Well besides being able to activate the rear locker in 2wd/front locker in 4hi without speed restrictions. Why would you want or need to?
You have to map a button for the swaybar to stay disconnected to any speed. If you're not mapped you get a higher speed than you do by default but not unlimited speed.Just installed Tazer last wk for OEM LEDs upgrades, used it for sway bar yesterday but it kept trying to reconnect at 18mph. Able to disco it in 2wd but I thought I could go up to 30mph
I'd be nice if you could map a steering wheel button to the FAD so you could have 2wd low on the fly. That and independent front locker control. I emailed them and got a reply back that it already does that if you have a button mapped but anytime I use just the front locker via the mapped button it still locks the rear as well...so not sure how they came up with that explanation when it clearly doesn't work that way.Not the only way, but the Tazer is definitely the easiest option. I’ve seen people wire in a manual switch to control the disconnect, but that’s more of a DIY project if you’re comfortable messing with wiring. For me, the Tazer just made sense—it’s plug-and-play and doesn’t require any permanent mods, so I didn’t overthink it.
Weird that yours turns on the rear locker on the mapped button. Our 2019 didn't and neither does the 2022. It shouldn't.I'd be nice if you could map a steering wheel button to the FAD so you could have 2wd low on the fly. That and independent front locker control.
