Hello all! New to the forums. My wife drives a 2015 Wrangler Sport 4dr. Her parents drive a Sahara and the ride quality is so much nicer. I'm trying to see if its practical to change the suspension on her Sport to a Sahara, or after market parts that are even nicer than the Sahara option.

We only do street driving, very rarely some light off-roading. I'm looking to make her Jeep ride more smoothly on the street and maybe even less body roll while turning. I'm not great at forums or searching them, so I apologize if there is already plenty of threads on this. I don't know anything about Jeeps, so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

well, for one, this forum is for the 18+ JL wrangler, you have a JK.
two, there is no appreciable difference between a sport and Sahara suspension.
Is your wife's jeep stock height with original shocks? It's probably just worn out.

What do you mean by "so much nicer? More cushy like a Cadillac? Firmer when taking corners?
Could simply be time fore new shocks.

Yikes. Stock everything on her sport. She only has about 75k miles, but maybe so!

Much more cushy and soft with bumps on the road. I feel like my wife's Sport feels every bump in the road. Just feels like very stiff suspension.

What tires do you have on the Jeep?

The in-laws jeep might have worn out shocks, causing it to float around on the road like an old lincoln. Some people like that sort of thing.

Tires are goodyear, I think all seasons, 255 75R17. Stock wheels.

I know its a wrangler and not a luxury SUV, but just feel its a huge difference in riding comfort experience with the in-laws Sahara

Get you some nice shocks then, can't hurt anything but the pocketbook.

What year is the parents’ Sahara? It might be a JK vs JL difference more than a Sport vs Sahara.

I don't make recommendations on vehicles I haven't driven.

Are they at the same tire pressure? That can make a big difference.

Otherwise they should be pretty similar.
