I just got my 25 rubi X, came from a bronco Wildtrack then a raptor. Before those I had jeep so I know what I was getting back into.

The Broncos both had Fox suspension (and IFS of course). I'm looking to improve the street ride somewhat, take some of the squishyness out the Jeep. I thought I'd want Fox 2.0 shocks and the factory lift, but some have been suggesting Falcon 2.0 monotubes and a Falcon steering stabilizer.

My off-roading would be light to moderate, so I'd like some suggestions as to what direction might be a good distraction to go. I want a little smoother daily drive, but I don't want to hurt the off-roading performance.

Thank you

You're going to get a boatload of opinions and questions first probably being how much do you want to spend and next are you planning to lift at all.

For a really good shock if you want to stay all stock and spend the money, Bilstein B8 8100 adjustable for 2-3 inch lifts. The fronts are very close to stock length when fully compressed and almost 4 inches longer extended. You will need to cycle your suspension to see if you need to add a tiny bit of bump, but the XR is already pretty limited on up travel. The rear are slightly shorter compress and over 2 inches longer extended, so you're fine bumped stock and may be able to reduce bump a little.

There are alot of good threads about the XR suspension and how to easily improve it.

Here is mine that has a lot of good input from the crowd here on the forum: BUILD PLAN, MAX UPTRAVEL HELP

For cheap shock alot of people like the Ranch 7000, but you have to run fronts in the rear and rears in the front for I don't remember what size lift to get the correct lengths. When asked I was told the JL front and rear corner loads are all pretty equal, so it isn't a problem.
