I have the same question.

FlashCal F5 SKU 3571.

2021 JLUR 3.6L with eTorque.

Connectors don’t match.

Trying to view your pics on a smart phone... Looks to me like you are fooling with the connectors in regard to the amplifier when you need to be back up there at the security gateway connectors(2).

See the red circled SGW connectors in this pic.

This has been my exact experience as well. Every time I use my FlashCal I end up tweaking my neck or back.
I'll never understand why obd and other ports like this are not in the engine bay on most cars.

This has been my exact experience as well. Every time I use my FlashCal I end up tweaking my neck or back.
I'll never understand why obd and other ports like this are not in the engine bay on most cars.
I'm not sure if this improves things for you, but government regulations stipulate that the OBD-II port is within a certain distance of the steering column, so the manufacturers are limited to a small radius.

Not bad for $29. Any other company would charge $280 for that cable - because, you know, JEEP.
