Hey fellow Jeepers...I was wondering if anyone runs a bungee attached sunshade under the Sunrider?? Kind of an odd reason (besides being balding and trying to not fry my head or my arms); I wear a hearing aid and the wind noise that is created is annoying AF....
Anyone do this? Does it fit ans do you have a model suggestion?

Thanks alL!

I tried recently with the Alien Sunshade (which, other than below, is a fantastic product).

The sunshade sits about 1.5" below the sunrider, and tbh, I don't know that it would provide much noise reduction. It's just a thick mesh.

the reason I sent the sunshade back, though, is because the front edge, along the windshield, interfered with me being able to open/close the sunrider. You *can* do it, but you kinda have to reach up between the windshield and the edge of the shade, and it was just too finagly/clunky for me to want to keep the shade.

Thanks so far! To be clear, the hearing aid issue has to do with direct wind witting the side of my ear and causing extraneous noise.....

Spiderwebshade fits just fine. I have a gray one available if interested.

I wonder if @OUsoONErs thought that I was kidding when he laughed at my DIY https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/quality-sun-shade-for-jlu.93674/#post-1944754 but one reason beyond saving $ that I made my own sunshade was to allow me to design it with access to the top's latches.

Of course you can write a note to @Bestop to make the retractable shade for the JL like they do for the JK https://www.bestop.com/products/retractable-sunshade-jeep-2007-2018-wrangler-jk-mesh/ or private message me and I'll send you Intel on how I made this retractable using windowshade hardware or my JL.

I have the Allien sunshade with mine works great, however I’ve resorted to taking my hearing aids out when driving as there is just nothing that works when the top is down or the doors are off.

I guess taking the hearing aid out would help decrease the distraction of my passenger’s screaming! HA! Drivers choice!!!

Once i put my alien shade on its staying in. It is a bit of a PITA to get the rear latches set as there's not enough gap open to easily move the latch but whatever.

Side chat: Im hearing impaired but i do not wear any aid at all. I have a tone deafness so just roll with the flow. Wind noise nah just have the radio up to 33 and lots of distortion. HAHAHAHA
