Ive seen bunch of jeepsters state their canvas materal seperated from the support bows. Mine did. As a result it wouldnt fold all way down and thw loose sections in wind as I raised was like a sail. Some suggesed velco. Others glue. None of these worked. Best top was useless. They never answer phone. Its out of warranty with dealer. So I decided on a last ditch idea. I bought some one inch self tapping dome screws and some rubber washers. With top up and locked. I put screws from top down into the middle of the bows. 2 on each side and 1 in middle. It works perfect. It now slides all way down. And its secure against wind. The washers protect between fabric and dome shape screw to guard against tearing and leaks although eugene the jeep doesnt see rain much in texas anyway. Its hardly noticeable. Anyway. Its a unorthpdox fix that works if its out of warranty. Also if your shoulder is killing you raisimg and lowering it. Use a golf ball retriever. You can stand on ground and use it to left and lower much easier. Your rotaor cuff will thank you
