I'd be good with that. Note on that website they don't provide a "sample" of the windshield view. What do you think the cost would be on the windshield? The problem is when you need to replace it, and you will.
Mine was $180. They initially installed the Blue 80 one and it had bubbles in it that wouldn't go away after a few weeks. When they redid it, they used one shade darker. I like this one better.

Bear in mind; you tint the windshield, the front and passenger sides; how visible is it at night? You hit a ped at an intersection, they'll come after you. That tint question will be up pretty quick.
It's a very very light tint on the windshield. I actually feel that it improves visibility at night because it cuts down on the glare. If you hit someone anywhere at any time, they are going to come after you whether you have tinted windows or not.

Here are 2 pictures of mine. One at low-light with the top off and windows down. And the other in bright light with the top on and windows up. You can notice it more in this picture because the door windows are tinted. The front door windows were matched to the factory hardtop tint.

I use a shade from Amazon, it has the cutout for the mirror (and the flag that I love).

I'm in Kentucky, they are sticklers on tint in my area. I do like the idea of the ceramic that is almost clear. As long as it doesn't look tinted as you drive by, we would be good here.

I have had ceramic film on the inside of my 2018 JLUR windshield (clear film), and ceramic tint film on all other windows up to the Texas legal tint limit, since I bought it new. There is a dramatic reduction in the interior heat load with ceramic film. The brand options were 3M and Blackmax at my local installer. We have another vehicle done the same way and the heat load reduction on the interior is significant, plus a reduction of UV ray reduction for your interior components, and on your hands, arms, and face (reflected rays while driving). Also, when parked, we use the relatively inexpensive silver reflective interior sunshade that you can purchase at almost any auto parts department, or online for a custom fit as some others have mentioned. I recommend both the ceramic film and interior sunshade. The Sun's heat load and UV rays can be brutal regardless of your location.

I have the same shade and it fits well. I use it in the summer whenever I plan to be at anywhere more than an hour.

I have some experience in what happens with your scenario. I'll keep mine legal or even lighter. As often as these windshield take a rock hit, I'm even hesitant to spend the money for a legal eyebrow.

I used to rely solely on a sun shield, but I recently went with a 70% ceramic car window tint on my Jeep's windshield, and it’s a game changer. It looks almost clear, so no issues with visibility or legality, but the heat and UV rejection are noticeable.

As soon as I got my windshield replaced had ceramic tint put on the windshield at 70% then had the banner done at 5% all the other windows got done also. The driver/passenger window dark enough to match the hardtop windows and the hardtop just got either a 70/80% tint. The heat reduction has been discussed but one thing over looked also is how much uva and uvb gets blocked by a ceramic tint.
I also had a Exoshield installed at same time I did have the tint done.
My jeep is parked outside uncover 100% of the time after 100+ degree days here in Colorado I can get in and the inside isn’t much warmer then outside air. When ac kicks on cools down quickly.
Only downside I have found with my setup and I don’t know if it’s the tint or the Exoshield with polarized sunglasses you get the rainbow effect looking through it.
