I do a pretty good job cleaning my Jeep but one area that's difficult is the grill, where the inserts are. I just have the stock grill and inserts, nothing fancy. But the vinyl/plastic inserts have mud/clay stained on them.

Short of spending half a day sticking my finger in each opening, does anybody have suggestions on how to speed this process up? Typically 303 aero is used but wiping it in each hole is going to take forever. A mitt or cloth just washes over the front and not the in between. Looking to make my life easier...

Just a random idea, but maybe spray it down and then try a looped nylon pistol bore brush to quickly poke in and out of each hole and then spray it again?

Still might take some time, but should work better than using a rag and your finger or trying to rotate a toothbrush in each one. Not really sure what caliber would work best, but you'd probably want something just a bit larger than the hole diameter itself, since they're more hex-sized than circle.

These ones go up to 45-cal, but that still might be a bit too small. Or maybe a similar style bottle brush might fit better?

This will sound odd. Use Armor all foaming tire cleaner and a soft bristle brush, like for cleaning wheels. Then wash clean with soap and water afterwords.
