Ok center of axle to ground on 17'' would 1/2'' and a 18'' axle to ground would be 1/2 '' also, meaning 1'' over all depending on like profile . I also stated that profile of tire would also be a factor. Yes the Ruby has a more aggressive tire with a taller sidewall. I put 18'' Sahara rims and tires on my 2018 JL Sport S. and gained 1/2'' in heigth. My youngest son has a new JLU Ruby and his stock tires are much larger than my Sahara tires. All I did is explain what I knew about tire sizes not claiming to be an expert.
Of course I never disputed that.
The issue is you kept bringing up wheel size, and the way you do makes it sound like you are saying that the 18" wheel is the important part of that swap, when in reality it is only the OD of the tire that is important.
