I asked Gemini about the difference in cost to own over 25k miles and $5pg diesel and the cost difference is not worth saving the weight and stepping down on tire size.

Its not going to be $5 forever it will come back down. Trail Grapplers have been on all 5 of myJeeps over 15 years in every condition never issues and never a flat etc. I have tried MTR's, SST's, Km3's, and Mitchlin XL's.

while needing to ask machine learning to do simple math for you is a wild thing. Owning a brick on wheels and worrying about weight and fuel mileage is always silly.

Agreed on both counts but I have found ai to be quite useful in getting the details quicker than I can and I’m all for tools that make my life easier!

I think when discussing MPG with a Jeep, it is not so much about cost. It is more about range, and if you are talking about a 2 door, it is even more important due to the small gas tank.

In simplest terms, you might get 200 miles on a 20 gallon if you get 10 MPG. If you get 20 MPG, then your range is 400 miles. If you carry spare fuel, 5 gallons could get you 50 miles with 10 mpg or 100 miles with 20 mpg.

I get 14 MPG in town in my JKU and only get about 265 miles per tank of gas.
