How long do you guys think I should let my soft top stretch out before attempting to put it down? Do you have any suggestions on how warm the weather should be?

I recently purchased an OEM Mopar soft top for my Jeep. I was aware that it would be difficult to put on the first time (especially in cold weather). It took my Dad and I a considerable amount of effort to get the windows in, but we succeeded.

I'm itching to lower the top, but I'm not itching to go through that much effort again. How much time/temperature/driving do you recommend until I try putting it down again?

Not exactly sure. Mine came with the premium soft top installed. Jeep was built in Feb 2019 and I purchased in mid-April 2019. I never had an issue opening/closing the top and that was done in temps in the upper 50's fahrenheit or higher.

I'd assume letting it sit outside a couple of warm days will stretch it. I'd also attempt your first try when it's been out in the sun for awhile too.

@SnowyJeep

It's way to soon in the Spring/Summer season for you to be lowering that new soft top and then expecting that you will easily / without headaches or possible damage, getting it back up again.

I am saying this as you reside in Canada.

YOU will want to wait another few weeks... until you get all day, daily temps about say 76 degrees or so. You risk headaches and damage to the soft top fooling with it in cold temps.
