So I decided to put my new soft top 9n for the first time tonight. It went on no problem at all except I’m 1 inch short forcthe latches to engage up front. It’s cold out. I got my garage heat on 65 for tonight. Will that help? Tomorrow suppose to be sunny and 60. Get it out in the sun? I hope I didn’t screw myself putting it on too early cause of the cold.

it really went on easy. Side windows were tough also but I did it backwards and no problem. Back window no issue either really.

thanks a lot for the help!

yep, you may be good after 65 all night. Mine was tight also. Still is a little bit, but I use the hard top most of the time

Garage heat may help, direct sunshine will for sure.

Sort of, kinda retired....mostly
Just installed a Mopar twill on mine. First time was a bitch to get everything stretched out. A couple of sunny days helped loosen things up a bit.

Thanks guys. I’m going to go check now. It’s 20 out right now but 60 today. I hope the sun is hot enough to hear it up. I should have maybe waited.

it’s pretty cool though. I never had a soft top. Man it looked awesome when the top was off without the soft top. I can see why u guys like the half doors cause I said if those windows weren’t there it would be perfect.

I had the same issue when I installed mine for the first time. It was 60 degrees out. But i had a buddy over and we seemed to muscle it with ease and it latched fine.

I used the best top spray from auto geek. Sooo easy to use. I masked off the windows and just sprayed away. No issues at all. I’ll let you all know how it fairs with weather. I got 2 coats on. 1. Title was enough for 2 full coats and I went heavy I feel.
