Strange Noise Issue

So this morning I get in the ole heep and upon starting her up it sounded like a door or window was open. The engine noise was louder than normal. Very hard to describe, but it was coming from what seemed like the passenger floorboard. I am wondering if the fresh air flap or whatever is stuck open. Any one have this happen? I am going to look at it closer tonight.
