Yes, they can be removed. Is the 2024 stock steel bumper able to have the “wings” removed so it turns the bumper into a “mid-width” bumper? See diagram ie. remove part #15 on both sides.

You're welcomeAwesome thanks for the photo!!!
Commonly referred to as "stubby"“mid-width” bumper
You can pull off the plastic bezels and cut down the metal crush can underneath the Madonna tits. Then, you can put the shorter plastic bezels on and you're good to go.One other question, can part #16 (Madonna Protrusions) be swapped out or is there some purpose to direct the fog light beam as to why the stick out more than say on @Overkill 's bumper? This is the Jeep I am looking at getting to replace my 21' 2Dr Rubicon. Appreciate everyones help!

Yep. The bezels are that extended because there's a different steel structure under there. But, the structure is basically the same as the normal steel bumper structure, but with a secondary crush can welded on. You can either disassemble the bumper and swap out the crush can structure or cut it down. Cutting it down is by far the easier way as you're just cutting the secondary crush can off of the first.Ok, so sounds like a mod vs purchasing a different bezel?
They don't have a purpose as far as the light beam goes. I think the thought is that it was supposed to provide some minor crash protection for the factory installed winch. But since people have installed winches in the factory bumper since they came out with this bumper style, there wouldn't be any issue with doing the steps that @Remorseless listed. One other question, can part #16 (Madonna Protrusions) be swapped out or is there some purpose to direct the fog light beam as to why the stick out more than say on @Overkill 's bumper?
