Is there a specific reason to skip them?I'd say skip the rocker armor however.
Do you need the rocker armor? Are you prepared to drill and insert nutserts into the body of the wrangler? Is there a specific reason to skip them?
For me it seems like the rocker armor requires a lot of damage to the body to try and protect the body. The RSE steps are pretty wide. I think it would be difficult to hit your body where the rocker armor is located if you already have the steps installed. If you do manage to damage your body there somehow you can always add the rocker armor later to cover it up.Is there a specific reason to skip them?

Thanks for the pic. That clarifies it significantly.I would add the RSE skid plates, the holes are already drilled so all you have to do is pound in the rivets on the side. The bottom is bolted on so it's not a big deal to install them.

Are those skid plates really these, or something else? https://rockslideengineering.com/product/step-slider-skid-plate-5/I would add the RSE skid plates, the holes are already drilled so all you have to do is pound in the rivets on the side. The aluminum skid plates are from Next Venture Motor Sports. But the picture shows the additional RSE skid plates over the steps.
