Not to beat a dead horse with the Death Wobble posts, but I wouldn't exactly call what's happening a "Death" wobble. Not huge shakes in the wheel, only wants to shake it like an inch, and it's not very violent, doesn't make it want to steer itself or track differently. This morning, I was comfortable taking both hands off the wheel and it continued going in a straight line down the road. It's mostly just an annoyance when it happens, starting around 60 that I could hit a bump and trigger it, but not being guaranteed. When it does happen usually going below 59 makes it go away, some cooler days it's stubborn and takes going down to 55, or it will just go away on its own after a little. Going down the highway at 70-75, when it's not really safe to slow down below 60, it also will just go away on its own after a little.

It has done it on 2 different sets of wheels and tires; specifically asked about it during inspection and watched them check the wheel bearings/ball joints; had it aligned and asked then to check it for death wobble and was told everything was tight in the front end; but the issue is still going on. Haven't personally checked those myself other than sliding under with it sitting on the ground and seeing if anything had play, but I'd like to trust the shops that did look at it. Tie rod only had a little bit of rotational but no side to side, same in control arm/track bar (whichever has the bend for clearing the diff). The only other thing I was told is that I need brakes and I have a caliper hanging, so I'm kinda out of ideas for what the issue could be.

The only thing I could think of would be trying a new/upgraded steering stabilizer. I've seen hundreds of opinions on doing a stabilizer or not, how it can never be a root cause and only ever a band aide fix for the real issue, but I can't find an issue otherwise, and neither can the alignment shop. My Jeep doesn't qualify for it being at 112k miles, but I also found a lawsuit for 2018/19 Wranglers with almost an exact description of what is happening to mine (not horrible or uncontrollable, and worse in colder temps). Lawsuit says air gets in the stabilizer, and at colder temps it can't be worked out as the oil in the shock thickens, and you get the little wobble/shimmy in the wheel.

Planning to do brakes/rotors and a new stabilizer this weekend with my buddy who's a mechanic. There's a lawsuit over it that's basically describing my issue and naming the stabilizer, so I figure it's a good place to start. And I don't want to start putting money into a new track bar/tie rod/control arm(s) when I'm being told by a mechanic that they're good. More just looking to see if anyone else has some more advice, if anyone has experienced the same issue?

Yeah, swap out your steering stabilizer. Mine did similar in the cold and slapping on a Fox ended that nonsense.

Went for a BDS NX2 Nitrogen charged stabilizer kit that should be in today, and I'll throw that on right after work. See if that helps the rest of the week, and the hour drive up to my buddies to do the brakes. Even though the service bulletin basically describes the issue to a T, still a little unsure with how often I see the stabilizer being called a band aid fix. So, I might look into for next year upgrading the track bar and/or tie rod.

Was also wondering since I know I have a caliper hanging, and it sounds like it's on the front, maybe that could be the issue. It trying to slow just 1 wheel down, pulling it a different direction or something. Just another thought and something I should be correcting this weekend
