Is there a weight or strength benefit to the black, polished lip upgraded wheels or is the difference vs the standard wheels purely cosmetic?

Most likely, just cosmetic.

I also like the standard Rubi wheels. Just wish they came in gunmetal as seen in auto shows or early reveal pics.

Jeep apparently is into the two tone wheels this year.

The upgraded wheels would be worth it if they were beadlock capable. For $900? Most of us change the wheels anyway.

$900 bucks for those asthetics is a lot! I'm glad I liked the stock Rubi wheels a little better when I ordered. I do like the upgraded too, but to me the stock rubi wheels looked a bit meaner with more black in them.

I also prefer the stock wheel. You would think the optional wheel would at least be 8.5 like the mopars but nope.

Upgrade wheels look wonderful in black. The polished lip ruins them though..

I guess I’m in the minority. I really like the upgraded wheels. Stock are cool, too, but remind me too much of the Matchbox Cars I had as a kid.

I dont see the point in paying for the upgraded wheels on the Rubi, they are all 7.5" wide...if they were 8"+ I would understand....IMO the stock looks better anyways. Most of us will swap them out to wider rims anyways, those that dont will have a bit of a spongy ride from sidewall flex if they go up to 35x12.5

Oh yeah fully plan on upgrading. So those std wheels will be good till my std 33’s wear out, then I’m swapping them out for some fuels or xd’s or something.... haven’t decided yet

I think they both look pretty good but I'm happy to save the money by sticking with the standard wheel. Will upgrade down the road also. Not sure why they are charging more for one over the other when the only difference is cosmetic?

I got the optional wheels, I assume it’s only cosmetic I would have liked to save the $1000 but I fell in love with them during the launch.

I think the upgrade rims look better with some colours, but not others.

Makes no sense that they should cost $900 more. It should just be a free option.
