Squealing noise

I have a service appt but wondering if anyone has experienced this. Brand new Jeep went into the shop for oil filter screen that malfunctioned and had injector seals and o rings replaced as well. Now it is making this sound.

Does it do it on start-up only and go away or is it there all the time?

Initial thought was vacuum leak but you'd have an engine light. Do you have any other indications besides the noise itself?

Nothing but the noise. Does it sporadically while driving. Sometimes for a few seconds sometimes longer and some days not at all.

Interesting. Sounds like it’s just one of those that’ll have to be heard. It’ll be tough to help through the forum. Whomever your appointment is with should be able to narrow that down pretty quick.

Assuming the sound is related to the oil filter screen, it sounds like the oil contol valve is oscillating causing a harmonic .
