My new Wrangler is producing friction-type noises from the panels chafing over road imperfections. If my wife randomly presses the panels she can make the noises stop. I tried two small strips of 2mm thick foam (sticky on one side) and it worked for 24 hours and then the squeaking was back - albeit with a 75% reduction. Next up is WD40 Specialist Dry Lube.

Any other home remedies out there?

Okay...so I'm answering my own question because I fixed the squeaks myself. I removed the two front panels, sprayed WD40 Specialist Silicone spray onto a clean microfiber cloth, and sparingly coated all the rubber seals on the roof opening and on the panels themselves.

Totally quiet now.

Thanks for the reminder I need to address this same issue. I will try the 303 because I already have it, and get the WD40 if that fails

You might have to re-coat the seals a few times, until it decides to fix itself. My tailgate/window did that for a while..
Yours doesnt leak water in the squeaking area, does it?
