Spark Plug change interval 20K miles?

What mileage would you suggest on a 3.6? I’d rather do maintenance a little before it was needed.

With the 3.6's, (My Wrangler's and other people's) I have always done the plug change deed at 85,000 mi. or so..

If you are staying local and not say traveling the interstates an iffy plug, a misfire, a CEL is not going to be a real real headache..... if you are on an interstate road trip, a plug(s) issue is a big deal.

Not related to plug change but I also change / replace the fuel filler cap if the vehicle has say 85,000 mi. on it and still has the factory installed fuel filler cap.

Well, manual states 100,000 mi. for the 3.6. I changed the plugs on my 2018 JL with 3.6 engine at 85,300 mi. and all I can say is........ Removed plugs were looking bad....

Curious, looking bad how? Burned up electrodes, fouling, etc…?

Worn... no typical indicators that anything was going on ... again, just worn out and ready for replacement..

Might as well make it 8 years/80k so it aligns with the oil change depending on when you do it. I’m on a 7500 mile interval so it’ll be around there…

What about these maintenance items?

• 10 yrs / 100k mi.
• PCV Valve - 100k mi. (?)
• Belts/hoses - 100k mi. (?)
• Fuel filter- 100k (?)
• 02 Sensors - when fail (?)
