Spare Tire Bumper

I recently added a lift and new bigger tires. When the spare was installed the new tire was much bigger so they had to add an extension. The rubber bumpers that come out of the back that keeps the spare from shaking no longer touch the new spare. Whenever I hit a bump the spare tire shakes like crazy. Does anyone know where I can find longer rubber bumpers? TIA

That's what I did, used a PVC coupler w/ a leg cap on top, works like a champ and actually looks like a stock part

Daystar has some too, but they looks like a much softer material.

Just pull out the old ones and pop these in (I use the handle of a rubber mallet to push in the center of the bumper to get them in). You can trim them to the length you need.

Edit: I think the JK ones may be a little longer if you are close.

I used a mushroom shaped champagne cork
Wrapped it in black tape to cover up the brown cork color

I did the same thing. Just a few dollars and it fixes the issue.

Did the same thing, my gap was so small I didn't even have to use the PVC, I just jammed the stool foot right into the bump stop.

Go to Home Depot and buy these. Cheap and fits over the stock one like a glove, can be trimmed to whatever length you need.
