Thinking about exploring some trails in the Guadalupe Ranger District of Lincoln National Forest sometime in March. No firm plans as yet (one of the joys of being retired). I'm thinking of maybe checking out the deeper canyons between Queen and the Texas border. Maybe even scoot down into Texas and check out the trails in Guadalupe National Park. Time-table is completely open right now, but I was thinking about doing it in mid-March. Maybe a couple nights of camping. Also would be interested in any suggestions for good trails to explore in that area of NM.
