Hopefully it'll dry out a little bit between the end of this week and Sunday. If not, I purchased some traction boards yesterday. So I'm sure that'll help a little bit if anyone gets stuck.
I've watched quite a few videos on the place up till now, there's a lot of trees there. Small trees but still a lot of trees. So hopefully some good options if winching is needed.
If you show, expect to get dirty!!!

It's raining today!
With a fairly large amount of the rain hitting the Gilmer area. With potential rain Saturday night and Sunday morning, and then Sunday evening as well, I'M STILL GOING!!!!
Don't know how far I'll get into the park, but I'll be there regardless! If it's too bad, I might just stick to the main roads and some of the easier trails, and aim on turning my green Jeep red before I leave... I mean that's my goal regardless! I want to bring the Jeep home head to toe, Clay Red!!
That being said I'm not a huge fan of mud, but ¿you know? You win some, you lose some! I'll probably go again in the fall, right at the tail end of summer before it starts raining again..
BUT YEAH, STILL LOOKING FORWARD TO SUNDAY!!!
Anybody who shows, I'll get you a bottle of Everclear for the next time I see you!
I'm not joking either! I'll make a list on here, with names of who shows up, and the next time we will together, I'll bring you some Everclear!

Hey boss I’m down but I think it will be more like 10 when me & @Oh_Jeepers get there. It’s about 2.5 hrs away and I need my beauty sleep. Another work buddy is on the other side of Ft worth and was going to try to get there around noon.

That's fine, the storms yesterday weren't so bad and it doesn't look like the ones they're going to be hitting tonight and tomorrow are going to be bunch of anything, it's supposed to hit 80°s today and tomorrow I believe so it should be pretty dry down I would think.
I'll still be getting there at 8:00 myself.
Yeah I'm 2 hours away myself.

The drive out there was a little bit cloudy, but the drive home to Anna was gorgeous!! I'm going to try and get my AC fixed the summer and maybe I can head out there again before too long!
