So, the other day, I finally had the time to swap out my soundbar speakers. I used the SSV adapters and some poly-fill.
I have the T'eyes CC2 head unit.
I don't know if I did something wrong, but the quality from stock to "upgrade" has definitely gone down...
What are my options? I plan on doing an amp in the near future with either an 8 or 10" sub. Should I do those sooner than later? Should I pull the poly-fill? Would replacing the speaker wires from the head unit to the speakers make that much of a difference?

For the setup I'm looking for, what amp should I be looking at?
Here's the speakers I installed.

How did you hook up the new speakers to factory leads? Did you use both leads wired together or just the wires for one speaker?

In the stock set up there are two sets of speaker wires for left and right…one lead to the stock 3.5“ and the other lead to the stock 4”. Not sure which you used but I would try both and see if one sounds better then the other. I think one of the issues is the way the stock system feeds the speakers, crossover settings and output levels. I changed all my speakers and added a sub and amp and does it sound better, yes…but not great.

I am having the exact issue with identical setup (although using 6x9 JBL's instead of the 6.5's)... I would love to hear what the end result/solution was....

I am having a new head unit and sub installed by Best Buy next week... thinking I might just uninstall the soundbar speakers and leave it to them to reintegrate with a new head unit... that way if it is a wiring issue, they can figure it out :)

What head unit are you getting installed?
