I got it, too. I'm fairly new to the Jeep community and this is the first update for me. Do I just hit update, get out of the Jeep, and let it sit to do its thing?

Hard to tell, its mentioned the backup camera, antitheft, off road pages, security updates......I can't tell that anything changed but at least nothing broke.

just saw the update screen pop up when shutting down the Jeep today.

I’m down in MB for the Jeep weekend, and there’s no way I’m touching it until I get back home.

The only good thing is Thankfully we don’t have the issues that the new Chevy Colorado folks are having where the automatic update can’t complete and the forced update just creates an endless loop of trying to complete until it drains the main battery and leaves folks stranded.

That's funny as my 5" UConnect 3 hasn't gotten an update. Maybe it's broken. :-(

That has never worked for me. Even when I manually updated to 40.1, it said my system was up to date.

I just got an on-screen uConnect update notification right as I turned the vehicle off. (Apparently, it's made to do exactly that.) No idea what it's doing, though. (I'm here for the same reason as most of you, I'm sure.)

Does anyone have any info about this new update? My vehicle already had the last update that had those emergency vehicle peer-to-peer social media bullshit buttons.

Depends on what version you're coming from, but the more recent updates are primarily just bug fixes. I wouldn't expect anything major appearing on UConnect 4 devices anymore.

Sorry to refresh an old thread but I am wondering if anyone can take a pic of their dealer screen with the latest version software. I just bought a 2020 JLU with the 8.4 uconnect and I don't know if it has been updated at all. I assume the dealer did it but I don't really know.
