Hey everyone. Was wondering if you keep the windows off regularly? I really enjoy riding with the top down and was contemplating leaving the windows off overnight. Thanks.

depends how other i drive the jeep. personally my Jeep isn't a daily driver as i spend most my time driving the work truck. but I tend to run my jeep in safari mode as much as possible and tend to leave the windows out or the top completely off for a week at a time

My windows are out year round unless I’m traveling. However, if I didn’t have a garage and was parking outside every night, I’d put them back in. Dew, pollen, and critters . . . no thanks!

I have the Soft top on May-September and I try to leave the windows out as much as possible. I have had a few sprinkles get the rear cargo area damp, but the next sunny day takes care of that.

Sadly I did put them in last night, as we are expecting up to half inch of rain today. Tomorrow I will wash the entire Jeep, and once dry stow the windows till my trip to Yellowstone at the end of the month

No. As a heat weenie, I need the A/C to exist. The soft top's windows are removed only when the top is lowered. That occurs in earnest during Spring and Autumn, when owning a convertible is at its best.

There are plenty of covers available to toss on and leave the windows out if you dont have a garage to keep it in. I love to run Safari mode when its cool out and when I had to keep it outside I used a cheap amazon cover like this

Drive in safari mode most of the time unless it is going to rain. Parked inside at night.

Retired and loving it!
Once I take the windows out I typically leave them out until late fall. I garage my JL and don't take 'er out in the rain. if I get caught in the rain I just roll up the front windows, put the top up and carry on.

Last year I left the JL in the driveway, windows out and down and top off, and took a nap. The thunder and lightning from the immense thunderstorm woke me up. By the fime I grabbed my keys and went out the interior of the JL was soaked from rain. I pulled 'er into the garage and went to work with my wet vac and opened the chassis drains. The next day, sunny and warm, I parked 'er in the drive to air out and dry, She emerged no worse for wear, no smells and bone dry.

Same. We are in safari mode or top down most of the spring/summer/fall, but it parked in a garage at night and my wife parks in a parking garage during the day at work. Only time the windows get put back in is if weather is calling for larger storms or heavy rain.

I remove my top as soon as possible late spring and leave it off until rain threatens at the end of the year. I keep it parked in my driveway and have only had one open top rain experience, but the Jeep dries pretty quickly.
Safari mode is awesome during the transition between "seasons".

Safari mode May thru September and it’s parked outside. Nothing of value in it to steal.

Mine stay out in all but the coldest months, as long as there's not a threat of rain. I don't have a garage - only a carport, but I've never had issues with anything other than mosquitos getting in at night. I live in a tiny town outside of College Station, TX, so crime isn't an issue. I always leave my Jeep unlocked, anyway. I don't keep anything of value in it, so if someone were to want to get in and poke around, at least they wouldn't have to damage my top/windows (assuming they're up/on) to find there's nothing in it.

I take mine off in April and just put them back on about 2 weeks ago due to 100 degree days. Near the end of August they'll come off until around the end of October.
