Soft top squeaking

I cannot for the life of me stop my soft top from squeaking at any speed. I’ve tightened all the bolts. its somewhere in the rear frame. Any advice is appreciated. This is the factory sunrider top. I’m thinking about getting foam pipe insulation to see if that will help.

I just bought a Besttop fastback. It squeaks with the Sunrider open.

At least yours is only when it’s open! Hopefully someone figured something out.

maybe the windshield? I know you said rear frame but for the longest time I thought I had a squeak coming from the sound bar area later to realize it was a bolt in the windshield that had not been properly torqued

I’ll check, but I’m 99% sure it’s the rear frame. Pretty sure it’s the middle part right behind the rear seat. I had my wife drive me around and I honestly couldn’t tell.
