Soft Top shoulder bolts for bracket

Not to be terribly nosy, but...how did you get into this situation? It's never occurred to me to remove that bolt.

I did not remove anything. I just opened the front passenger door this morning and it was on the door jam to greet me in my case I do see rust so I do not know if there’s any shear force on that part or not. But it does appear the threaded piece did not come with it so I am assuming that it is stuck wherever it fell from. I have not even had the top down on the jeep in the last couple years.

I also didn't remove the missing bolt. I bought the soft top from a 4xe owner, and it had fallen out and disappeared while in his possession.

Can you give me the phone number for customer service? I think i am in need of one as when I opened the passenger door this morning I heard it clunk and found the shoulder bolt piece on my passenger side door jam of the front door. Is there a part number i need to ask for?
