Soft Top question? Locked slider switch??

I have a 2019 JL Sport-S (2 door).
I have the BestTop $600 option.

Is the slider switch in the back suppose to be in the "lock" position when the softTop is up?

No, the lock is for when you have the soft top down it locks it so it doesn’t bounce around.

Ok..i will put rear-slider switch to "unlock" position when soft top is up (closed).
