Soft Top headaches

So I ordered a dual top JLUR. My Jeep was delayed 2 months because of the back ordered soft top. Finally after 3 months Jeep decides to ship the Jeep SANS the soft top. No problem the top was on order and was going to be here in 6-8 weeks. Well much to my surprise less than 3 weeks later my soft top arrives! It only took about 20 minutes to install it but then I noticed that there were 3 large (around 8" scratches) on each side of the rear window. It is kind of hard to see on photos but I tried. My top is literally 2 hours old and it already has annoying scratches!

Will Jeep replace the rear window? I should not have brand new window with scratches on them.

I'd head to the dealer now and show and speak with them on the matter. The longer you wait, the more difficult it'll probably be to have them replace it. With that being said, I'm not sure your warranty would cover that or not.

If your dealer is any good they should take care of it no problem for you. I had a similar issue with my 2015 and they ordered new side windows for me.

Also, be very careful cleaning those windows - if you sneeze on them they scratch. I have a specific cleaner that I use for the windows...can't remember the name of it right now, but maybe someone can chime in. I'll update once I get home and look in my garage.

Stopped by the dealer and it looks like Jeep is going to warranty it. Will probably take forever but it is still a new window. If I am lucky maybe Jeep will send me all the windows by accident.
