SoCal frame shop recommendations

I recently broke off the internal frame welds on 2 motor mount bolts of our Jeep JL. I took it to the dealer (Jeep of Ontario) to see if their shop would do the repair, but was turned away without a recommendation. Has anyone had any dealings with reputable frame shops in the SoCal area?

I'm at my wits end with this. Every time I talk to a shop about this, they just grimace and say they can't do it! I don't know where else to turn.

post a couple pictures up. there is a frame straightening shop down off state street i pass for work every day. i have seen a lot of nice trucks and cars in and out of the place. I cannot say that I have dealt with them myself but their reviews on google look good. If not, I do not see why an auto collision shop couldn't make quick work of it either.

You can also talk to Mandrels auto body in Pomona. the owner there is great might be able to help you out. They fixed my uncles JKU frame really well after he was t-boned a few years back. My uncle ended up taking the total out and the body shop bought it, fixed and now wheels and goes hunting in it all the time.

I'm not in your area, but look at body shops rather than mechanics.... or possibly go straight to a welder.

If these motor mounts broke as the result of an accident you likely need your frame straightened as well.

If these motor mounts broke as the result of an accident you likely need your frame straightened as well.

Not a result of an accident. Was just loosening and retightening the body mount bolts after installing Rock Slide Engineering Step Sliders.

You could try 88 rotors. They do lots of jeep and Tacoma welding mods. Ive only seen them body mount chop and weld Tacomas all day long. But they seem very knowledgeable and have a JL on 40's with every most expensive mod part you can think of added to it. They might weld it for you.
